Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED.
• Active Medical Assisting certification from one of the following (required).
• BLS Basic Life Support certification required at hire for some Mercy Health locations.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and provide courteous service.
• Review and update health records; verify test results and other medical records.
• Measure vital signs (pulse, respiration, BP, weight, height).
• Perform clerical duties (inventory, referrals, phone duties).
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems promptly.
