Job summary

Paradigm Healthcare seeks a dedicated Certified Medication Aide to join our skilled nursing team in Texas. Under RN supervision, you will administer medications, monitor resident conditions, and document care in accordance with regulations and facility policy.

We value compassionate care, reliability, and teamwork in a busy LTAC environment. This role requires active CMA and CNA certifications in Texas, and prior long-term care experience is preferred; familiarity with Point Click Care is

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active certification to practice as a Medication Aide in the State.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active certification to practice as a nursing assistant in the State.
• 2 years’ experience in Long-Term Care experience preferred.
• Six (6) months experience as a Certified Medication Aide preferred.
• Strong utilization knowledge of Point Click Care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of a nurse, provide direct nursing care and administer medications as prescribed.
• Document administration of medications and other tasks in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Deliver care following the resident plan of care and physician orders.
• Perform resident care duties such as transporting, linen changes, positioning, bathing, and assisting with meals and hydration.
• Maintain infection control practices and keep medication carts organized and secure.
• Coordinate with nursing and resident services to ensure continuity of care and communication.
