Job summary

Willow Ridge Wellness & Rehabilitation in Texas is seeking a certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join its care team in a full-time role. You will assist with resident med passes under the charge nurse supervision, helping maintain high-quality, person-centered care.

Strong communication in English is required; prior patient-care experience is preferred. The position emphasizes teamwork, compliance with charting guidelines, and ongoing training to support daily operations.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in English through speech and writing.
• Previous patient care experience preferred.
• Current certification for Medication Aide.

Responsibilities

• Reports promptly any change of patient condition or other concerns to Patient Care Supervisor.
• Follow charting guidelines for PRN documentation.
• Reports medication reorder.
• Participates in all assigned meetings, trainings, education and in-service as required.
• Inventory documentation of drugs on appropriate forms.
• Current certification for Medication Aide.
