Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered CMA certification to practice in Texas.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered CNA certification in Texas.
• 2 years’ long-term care experience preferred.
• 6 months CMA experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Point Click Care is preferred.
• Computer literacy (Outlook, Office, Internet) required; ability to lead and stay organized.

Responsibilities

• Under nurse supervision, administer medications and prepare/dispense per regulations and policies.
• Document administration and other tasks per organization procedures.
• Maintain infection control practices and keep medication cart clean/stocked.
• Deliver resident care per plan of care, under licensed nurse supervision.
• Coordinate with resident services to ensure continuity of care; participate in surveys as needed.
