Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking a Patient Care Technician to provide a wide range of support services across units. Training pathways are available for those not yet CNA-certified.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (or high school transcript) required.
• No prior experience required for the role.

Responsibilities

• Obtains and reports basic patient data (vital signs, weight, etc.).
• Assists with activities of daily living and mobility as directed.
• Maintains patient records and unit supplies; supports communication between staff.
• Responds to patient call lights and assists as needed.
• Operates within EMR and follows patient safety procedures.
