Job summary

City of Hope is seeking a Clinical Scheduler to coordinate patient appointments and support efficient scheduling workflows. The role involves telephone interactions and electronic coordination to ensure accurate visit information and billing alignment.

You will work with patients, families, care teams, and providers to maintain schedules and support patient satisfaction, while leveraging EMR and scheduling software to manage complex calendars and data entry.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree desirable.
• 2-3 years of Medical Scheduling experience preferred.
• MA/CNA work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to hospital delivery of optimum care by responsibly scheduling established patient care appointments.
• Performs telephone interactions and electronic functions to coordinate scheduling of patient care.
• Works with patients, caregivers, care teams, and providers to maintain accurate schedule/visit information, accurate billing and tracking functions, and support patient satisfaction and preferences.
