Job summary

City of Hope in the United States is seeking a Clinical Scheduler to support hospital operations by scheduling established patient appointments and coordinating care teams. You will interact with patients and caregivers, maintain accurate calendars and billing data, and use electronic medical record systems to ensure smooth, quality care.

The position requires a High School diploma or equivalent; 2–3 years scheduling experience is preferred, and a Bachelor’s degree is desirable.

Qualifications

• MA/CNA work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to hospital delivery of optimum care by responsibly scheduling established patient care appointments.
• Performs telephone interactions and electronic functions to coordinate scheduling of patient care.
• Works in partnership with patients, caregivers, care teams, and providers to maintain accurate schedule/visit information, accurate billing and tracking functions, and support patient satisfaction and preferences.
