Job summary

Upperline Health is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to support physicians in a clinic setting. You will manage front desk duties, greet patients, schedule appointments, and ensure accurate check-in and processing of patient information across our National City, CA location with travel to Chula Vista and La Mesa clinics.

The role requires strong communication, customer service, and ability to maintain patient confidentiality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Front desk receptionist duties, greeting patients, and ensuring accurate check-in for appointments.
• Experience coordinating patient scheduling and maintaining on-time clinic flow.
• Experience with EMR systems; Athenahealth preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills in a healthcare setting.
• Reliable, empathetic team member with professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Handle front desk tasks: greet patients, answer calls, collect info, and keep entrance organized.
• Assist patients with scheduling and ensure timely arrival for appointments.
• Notify physicians when patients arrive to maintain on-time schedules.
• Retrieve and file patient records; manage billing-related interactions.
• Maintain confidentiality and organize office supplies.
• Support team with additional duties as needed.
