Job summary

Pueblo of Zuni is seeking a Child/Family Support Worker to deliver case management services for CPS cases within Zuni Social Services. The role supports families, performs home studies, and coordinates with attorneys and guardians ad litem in court proceedings.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of child welfare principles, safety assessments, and family support services.
• Familiarity with local codes and laws governing child protective services and elder protective services.
• Zuni culture awareness and ability to work with tribal legal frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management, tracking and follow-up services.
• Assist CPS Workers with case planning, documentation, and coordination for cases of alleged child abuse, neglect, or exploitation.
• Conduct home studies and unannounced visits to assess living dynamics and safety.
• Maintain accurate records and reports in compliance with tribal, state, and federal codes.
• Attend tribal court hearings and provide testimony when required.
• Perform weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual statistical reports.

Education

Associates Degree in Human Services

High School Diploma or GED with 5 years experience
