Qualifications

  • Valid Driver's License and be insurable by Tribal insurance.

Responsibilities

  • Handle intake calls and reports of child abuse/neglect.
  • Complete initial assessments on allegations of abuse/neglect.
  • Assess risk and develop risk assessment findings.
  • Coordinate with law enforcement for investigations.
  • Initiate court involvement for child abuse/neglect, status offense and juvenile offender cases.
  • Develop, implement and evaluate treatment plans.
  • Prepare case plans and court reports; maintain regular contact with courts.
  • Conduct monthly home visits with wards and families.
  • Enter data into NFOCUS and maintain case documentation.
  • Attend court hearings to testify and participate in family assessments.
  • Provide crisis intervention as needed.
  • Transport wards to meetings, court hearings, and appointments.
