Job summary

Honey Grove Wellness and Rehab is seeking a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine nursing care in line with facility policies and under supervision to ensure quality resident care. Qualifications

• Currently licensed as a Certified Nursing Assistant in Texas.
• Minimum of 6 months experience as a CNA or clinical experience during certification training.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to interact tactfully with residents, families, visitors and staff.
• Willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel.
• Must maintain good health, emotional stability and patience.
• Must relate to and care for ill, elderly residents across varying maturity levels.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine nursing care per policy and as directed by supervisors.
• Make rounds at shift start and every two hours to administer care.
• Verify resident identity before care or meals.
• Report missing ID bands to admissions promptly.
• Make beds and clean bedside tables; keep water pitchers fresh and reachable.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by nursing or admin staff.
