Job summary

Hacienda Oaks at Beeville in Beeville, Texas is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care to assigned residents in accordance with care plans. You will greet residents, assist with daily activities, and help prepare them for medical tests while maintaining a warm, respectful environment.

You must have a Texas CNA license, CPR preferred, and strong observation, documentation, and communication skills to ensure resident safety and comfort.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with laws of the state.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents before administering treatments using wristband or photo card.
• Record entries on flow sheets, notes, charts, etc., in an informative, descriptive manner.
• Report all changes in the resident’s condition to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse.
• Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information including protected health information.
• Assist residents with daily functions and personal care needs.
