Job summary

River Valley Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine nursing care in accordance with facility policies. The role involves assisting with daily activities, meals, and personal care to ensure high-quality resident care.

Qualified candidates are CNAs with current license or actively enrolled in CNA program, with at least 6 months of experience or clinical CNA training. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in a CNA program or hold a CNA license.
• Minimum 6 months of CNA experience or clinical experience during CNA training.
• Must have sincere desire to serve ill, aged, and infirm.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine nursing care as directed by licensed staff.
• Take resident rounds at start of shift and every two hours.
• Assist with feeding, bathing, grooming, and mobility.
• Ensure resident safety and maintain infection control procedures.
• Report any issues to Charge Nurse immediately.
• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and supplies.
