Job summary

Sweetwater Care is seeking a compassionate Nursing Assistant to provide routine nursing care under supervision in a Texas facility.

The role requires a valid CNA license and at least 6 months of CNA experience or clinical CNA training. You will perform rounds, assist with daily tasks, and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout shifts in Houston.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CNA license.
• Minimum 6 months CNA experience or clinical CNA training.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Strong patience and compassionate care for ill or elderly.
• Ability to work harmoniously with staff.
• Emotional stability and good health.
• Able to interact with residents, families, visitors.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per facility policies and nursing procedures.
• Make rounds at shift start and every two hours to administer care.
• Verify resident ID before care or meals.
• Report missing ID bands to admissions immediately.
• Make beds and clean bedside tables.
• Ensure water pitchers are cleaned, filled with fresh water and within resident reach.
• Other related duties as directed by supervisor or administrator.
