Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a reliable CDL bus driver to transport public school students to and from the LifeWise site. The ideal candidate will be punctual, safety-conscious, and have a mature Christian faith in line with our Statement of Faith.

The role requires a CDL with passenger vehicle endorsement (P), a clean driving record within the last five years, and successful completion of background checks, MVR, FMCSA Clearinghouse, and regular drug testing. Age range 21–80.

Qualifications

• Must possess a CDL with passenger vehicle endorsement (P).
• Clean driving record with no at-fault accidents or traffic citations in five years.
• Age between 21 and 80.
• Background check and FMCSA Clearinghouse check required.
• Drug and/or alcohol testing required.
• Annual submission of CDL license copy and (P) endorsement for drivers over 75.

Responsibilities

• Transport children and LifeWise volunteers to and from the LifeWise site.
• Obey traffic laws.
• Maintain the cleanliness and mechanical safety of the bus.
• Perform regular inspections of the bus.
• Refuel the vehicle as needed.
• Create and maintain a safe environment for children.
• Complete LifeWise Academy training.
• Volunteer in the LifeWise classroom if agreed with the director.
