Job summary

OATS Transit is a non-profit transportation provider serving seniors, individuals with disabilities and the rural public in Missouri. We are hiring drivers for mini-vans, Ford Transits and wide body buses with flexible hours.

This active role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, strict adherence to safety protocols, and daily use of an in-vehicle tablet. The job includes paid training and comprehensive benefits after the probationary period.

Qualifications

• Minimum 23 years old.
• Class E or CDL license with ≤4 points.
• Must pass a U.S. DOT physical and road test.
• Must pass drug screening and random drug/alcohol testing.
• Bondable and able to operate a tablet in-vehicle.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Active driving role requiring physical activity.

Responsibilities

• Assist riders on and off the bus with respect and courtesy.
• Safely secure wheelchairs and mobility devices.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and good operating condition.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Complete required paperwork and submit to regional office.
