Job summary

OATS Transit is hiring drivers across Missouri to operate mini-vans, Transits and wider body buses. You will assist riders, conduct safety checks, and complete required paperwork while upholding safety and respect on every trip.

Candidates must be 23+, hold Class E or CDL with ≤4 points, pass DOT physical/road test and drug screening, and be bondable. Tablet usage is standard in-vehicle. This is a physical, customer-facing role with training provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 23 years old.
• CDL or Class E license with ≤4 points.
• Must pass U.S. DOT physical and road test.
• Must pass drug screening and random drug/alcohol testing.
• Must be bondable and able to use a vehicle tablet.

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned vehicle (mini-van, Ford Transit, or wide-body bus) safely.
• Assist riders on and off the vehicle with care and respect.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and report issues promptly.
• Complete required paperwork and submit to regional office timely.
• Attend routine paid training and comply with all regulations.
