Job summary

OATS is hiring drivers in Missouri for mini-vans, Ford Transits, or wide body buses. This non-profit transportation provider serves seniors and individuals with disabilities across rural Missouri. Positions include full-time/part-time schedules with day shifts and high school education requirements.

Responsibilities include assisting riders, securing mobility devices, vehicle upkeep, and using an in-vehicle tablet for trip info. Benefits and training are provided to successful candidates.

Qualifications

• Must have CDL/Class E license with no more than 4 points.
• Must pass a U.S. DOT physical and road test.
• Must take and pass drug screening and undergo random testing.
• Candidate must be bondable and able to use an in-vehicle tablet.
• Be proactive, flexible with schedules and routes; neat, organized and independent.
• This is a physical role with lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Treat riders with respect and assist them on/off the bus.
• Safely secure wheelchairs and mobility devices.
• Maintain cleanliness and condition of assigned vehicle/equipment.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report issues.
• Use the in-vehicle tablet for trip info and scheduling.
• Complete required paperwork and submit to regional office on time.
• Attend routine paid training and follow all rules.
