Meridian Senior Living is hiring a Caregiver/Resident Assistant to support residents with daily activities and personal care in our Illinois communities. You will help with bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and incontinence, while documenting care and recognizing changes in residents’ conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent and required state training.
• Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
• Ability to work as a team member and as an individual.
• Effective communication with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the public.
• Honest, fair, dependable; respect privacy and confidentiality.
• Must meet health requirements and pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care assisting residents with daily activities (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Assist with positioning, mobility and incontinence care.
• Keep proper care records and report changes in residents’ conditions.
• Interact effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the public.
