Meridian Senior Living is hiring a Caregiver/Resident Assistant to support residents with daily activities and to help create a caring, respectful environment. You will be part of a team dedicated to enhancing residents' quality of life in our community.

The role focuses on compassionate care, effective communication, and reliable support for residents and their families, with opportunities for career growth within Meridian Senior Living.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent and successfully complete training as required by State regulations.
• Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly
• Must demonstrate the ability to work responsibly as a team member as well as an individual.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the general public.
• Must be honest, fair, dependable, respect confidentiality and the rights and privacy of others.
• Must meet all health requirements and pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care assisting residents with daily activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility and continence care.
• Keep accurate care records, report changes in residents’ conditions, and communicate with residents, families and staff.
