Meridian Senior Living is hiring a Caregiver/Resident Assistant to support residents with daily activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility. You will help maintain dignity and comfort, document changes, and collaborate with a caring team in our Illinois communities.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent and training as required by State regulations.
• Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly
• Must demonstrate the ability to work responsibly as a team member as well as an individual.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the general public.
• Must be honest, fair, dependable, respect confidentiality and the rights and privacy of others.
• Must meet all health requirements and pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and mobility assistance.
• Maintain care records and report changes in residents' condition to families and staff.
