Meridian Senior Living in Illinois seeks a Caregiver/Resident Assistant to provide direct care and support for residents daily.

You will assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility and daily activities, while maintaining records and communicating with residents' families and the care team. The role emphasizes compassion, teamwork, and respectful interactions within a loving community.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent and complete required training.
• Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
• Must demonstrate the ability to work responsibly as a team member as well as an individual.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the general public.
• Must be honest, fair, dependable, respect confidentiality and the rights and privacy of others.
• Must meet all health requirements and pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning and mobility.
• Assist with incontinence care and ensure resident comfort.
• Keep accurate care records and report changes to the care team.
• Interact respectfully with residents, families, staff, vendors and the public.
