Job summary

MBK Senior Living in Portland, OR is seeking a passionate Caregiver to support residents in daily living activities in a part-time, PRN role. Responsibilities include bathing, dressing, hygiene, meals, mobility, and safety, following care plans and reporting changes to supervisors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Nurses Aide certification preferred.
• Current first aid certification.
• Background clearances as required.
• Read and speak English.
• Ability to follow oral and written directions.
• Prior caregiving experience preferred.
• Must lift 40+ pounds and push 150 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, hygiene, meals and mobility.
• Respond to resident needs promptly while maintaining dignity and safety.
• Follow care plans to ensure proper care.
• Support residents during mealtimes and assist with trays as needed.
• Ensure resident safety and report changes to supervisors.
• Perform essential housekeeping like laundry and linen as required.
