MBK Senior Living is seeking a PRN Caregiver to assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, hygiene, meals, and mobility, while maintaining dignity and excellent service. The role emphasizes resident safety, observation, and timely reporting to supervisors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Nurses Aid certification preferred.
• Current first aid certification required.
• Background clearances as required by regulations.
• Health screening and negative TB test within the last 6 months or 7 days of employment.
• Caregiving experience preferred but on-the-job training available.
• Must be able to read and speak English.
• Ability to follow oral and written directions.
• Ability to interact effectively with people of different ages and backgrounds.
• Must meet and maintain state regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident needs promptly while maintaining dignity and safety (50%).
• Follow care plans to ensure proper resident care (10%).
• Assist daily living activities including bathing, dressing, hygiene, meals, and transfers (20%).
• Assist at mealtimes with serving and clearing (3%).
• Transport residents safely to meals and activities (3%).
• Perform regular safety checks (1%).
• Encourage participation in daily activities (1%).
• Lead residents in meaningful activities (3%).
• Handle laundry and assist with community duties (1%).
• Manage oxygen equipment per MD orders (1%).
• Document information and report changes to a supervisor (4%).
• Respond to resident alerts and emergencies as needed (3%).
• Ensure safety during drills (1%).
