Job summary

MBK Senior Living seeks a compassionate Caregiver to assist residents with daily living activities, follow care plans, and support meals and mobility. You will work in a team-focused, hospitality-driven environment, delivering high-quality service and resident-centered care.

Qualifications

• Age 18 or over with work permit as required by regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Nurses Aid certification preferred.
• Current first aid certification.
• Background clearances as required by government regulations.
• Health screening with negative TB test within required timeframe.
• Prior caregiving experience preferred, on-the-job training available.
• Must be able to read and speak English.
• Ability to follow oral and written directions.
• Ability to interact effectively with people of different ages/backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in daily living activities including bathing, dressing, hygiene and mobility.
• Read and follow care plans to ensure proper care is provided.
• Provide assistance at mealtimes with selecting meals, serving, and clearing.
• Transport residents as needed and assist with transfers following safety protocols.
• Perform safety checks and encourage participation in daily activities.
• Document information and report changes to a supervisor promptly.
