Job summary

At Peace Healthcare Agency is hiring compassionate Caregivers / Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to provide one-on-one, non-medical personal care and companionship in clients' homes. You will help with daily living activities, prepare meals, assist with mobility, reminders for medications, and transportation to appointments.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of personal care experience preferred.
• Proof of TB testing required.
• Must be physically able to perform essential duties.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• If transporting clients, must have a valid driver’s license and current auto insurance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be mature, caring, punctual, and dependable.
• Must pass required criminal background and fingerprint checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, non-medical personal care and companionship to clients in their homes.
• Assist with activities of daily living and daily routines.
• Prepare meals, light housekeeping, laundry, and safe home environment maintenance.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to promote independence.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, and safe movement in the home.
• Provide medication reminders per care plans.
• Help with transportation to medical appointments and errands as needed.
