Job summary

At Peace Healthcare Agency is hiring compassionate Caregivers / Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join our growing team. We provide one-on-one, non-medical personal care, companionship, and daily living support in clients' homes, helping them maintain dignity and independence.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of personal care experience preferred.
• Proof of current TB testing required.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• If transporting clients, must have a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance.
• Must successfully pass required criminal background and fingerprint checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one, non-medical personal care based on each client's care plan.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, toileting, and activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding; perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Provide companionship and emotional support; encourage independence and social engagement.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, and safe movement around the home.
• Provide medication reminders according to the care plan.
• Assist with transportation to medical appointments and errands when applicable.
