Job summary

At Peace Healthcare Agency is hiring compassionate caregivers and PCAs to provide one-on-one, non-medical personal care and companionship in clients' homes. You will help clients maintain dignity, independence, and quality of life, including ADLs, meal prep, and mobility support.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of personal care experience preferred.
• Proof of current TB testing required.
• Must be physically able to perform the essential duties of the position.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• If transporting clients, must have a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be mature, caring, punctual, and dependable.
• Must successfully pass required criminal background and fingerprint checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, non-medical support to clients in their homes.
• Personal Care, bathing and grooming, toileting and incontinence care, dressing and personal hygiene.
• Assistance with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment.
• Companionship and social engagement; transportation to appointments as needed.
