Job summary

At Peace Healthcare Agency is hiring compassionate Caregivers/PCAs to provide non-medical personal care, companionship, and daily living support in clients' homes. You will help maintain dignity, independence, and quality of life with individualized care plans.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of personal care experience preferred
• Proof of current TB testing required
• Must be physically able to perform the essential duties of the position
• Must have reliable transportation
• If transporting clients, must have a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be mature, caring, punctual, and dependable
• Ability to work independently while following the client's care plan
• Must successfully pass required criminal background and fingerprint checks

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one, non-medical personal care, companionship and daily living support
• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, ADLs and mobility as per care plan
• Prepare meals, light housekeeping, laundry and safe home environment
• Offer companionship and social engagement to promote independence
• Assist with transportation to appointments and community activities as applicable
• Provide medication reminders according to care plan
