Job summary

At Peace Healthcare Agency is hiring compassionate Caregivers/PCA to provide one-on-one, non-medical personal care and companionship in clients' homes. You will support dignity, independence, and quality of life, with duties spanning personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, and mobility assistance.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of personal care experience preferred.
• Experience as a Caregiver, PCA, HHA, Home Health Aide, Direct Care Worker, or similar role is a plus.
• Proof of current TB testing required.
• Must be physically able to perform the essential duties of the position.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• If transporting clients, must have a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be mature, caring, punctual, and dependable.
• Must successfully pass required criminal background and fingerprint checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, non-medical support to clients in their homes.
• Assist with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment.
• Provide companionship and emotional support; encourage independence.
• Assist with mobility and safe movement around the home.
• Provide medication reminders according to the care plan.
• Transport clients to medical appointments and run errands when needed.
