At Peace Healthcare Agency is hiring compassionate Caregivers / Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join our growing team. This role provides one-on-one non-medical care, companionship, and daily living support in clients' homes, helping them maintain dignity and independence.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of personal care experience, reliable transportation, and a commitment to high-quality care. Competitive pay and benefits accompany growth opportunities within a supportive agency.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of personal care experience preferred
• Previous experience as a Caregiver, PCA, HHA, Home Health Aide, or similar position is a plus
• Proof of current TB testing required
• Must be physically able to perform the essential duties of the position
• Must have reliable transportation
• If transporting clients, must have a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be mature, caring, punctual, and dependable
• Ability to work independently while following the client's care plan
• Must successfully pass required criminal background and fingerprint checks

Responsabilités

• Provide one-on-one, non-medical personal care, companionship, and daily living support per care plan
• Assist with bathing, grooming, toileting, and incontinence care
• Assist with meals, feeding, light housekeeping, laundry, and home safety
• Provide companionship, encourage independence, and support social engagement
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, and safe movement throughout the home
• Provide medication reminders according to the care plan and requirements
• Assist with transportation to medical appointments and community activities
