Job summary

Stonegate Village Assisted Living & Memory Care in Michigan is seeking a compassionate caregiver to provide comfort, safety and daily living support to residents. You will assist with medications administration under physician orders and help with activities of daily living per each resident's plan.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork and the ability to maintain confidentiality, while following care protocols and contributing to a positive resident experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR/First Aid certification required or obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office in a Windows environment.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work with minimal supervision.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional communication with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents according to physician orders and document completion.
• Review eMAR each shift to ensure timely administration of medications.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living per service plans and provide needed assistance.
• Respond to resident call lights and alarms promptly.
• Observe and report changes to Care Coordinator and Director of Resident Care.
• Maintain daily charting and documentation as required.
