Job summary

Candlestone Assisted Living and Memory Care - Leisure Living in Michigan seeks compassionate caregivers to assist residents with daily living activities. Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring residents, and maintaining accurate documentation to ensure safety and comfort.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR/First Aid certification or within 30 days of hire.
• Proven ability to administer medications and document accurately.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications per physician orders and document completion.
• Review eMAR each shift to ensure timely medication administration.
• Review new medication orders for accuracy and update eMAR.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living per care plans.
• Respond to call lights and safety alarms promptly.
• Observe changes in resident condition and report to care team.
• Prepare and maintain medication supplies and records.
• Chart; weigh and take vitals as required.
• Support training of new staff and maintain clean environments.
