Job summary

StoryPoint Kalamazoo is seeking a dedicated Caregiver to provide compassionate, personalized assistance to residents. You will support daily living activities, including bathing, dining, mobility, and documentation to ensure well‑being and safety.

The role emphasizes compassionate care, adherence to 1440 care standards, and strong communication with Wellness Leaders, residents, and families to meet evolving needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• CNA or MA certification preferred.
• Experience in geriatrics or with elderly population preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and competent care for residents.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, dining, mobility and daily living activities.
• Provide wheelchair and walking escorts and light incontinence care.
• Assist with morning and bedtime routines and room upkeep.
• Document care activities and communicate changes to Wellness Leader.
• Report changes to residents’ needs to families and team.
• Maintain safety and emergency procedures knowledge and comply with policies.

Education

Healthcare experience with elderly
