Job summary

StoryPoint Group is seeking a Caregiver to provide caring and personalized assistance for residents in our community. The role includes bathing, dining assistance, mobility support, and everyday care in a compassionate setting.

Responsibilities include documenting care, communicating with Wellness leaders and families, and participating in meetings while upholding 1440 care standards. A CNA/MA or related healthcare experience is preferred, with ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous Healthcare, Geriatrics or experience working with the elderly population preferred.
• CNA or MA Certification preferred.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Actively supports our culture - our pillars and 1440.
• Completion of daily/weekly tasks as assigned by the Wellness Coordinator, and assisting others routinely.
• Provide compassionate and competent care for residents by performing listed services.
• Bathing, showering and grooming assistance
• Assist residents with dining
• Provides wheelchair and walking escorts
• Provides toileting and light incontinence care assistance
• Assistance with morning and bedtime routines
• Performs light upkeep of resident rooms
• Answers resident call signals
• Medication assistance, personal care/medication administration
• Completes and documents appropriate records
• Works scheduled shift and may help other shifts
• Maintains knowledge of safety and emergency procedures
• Adheres to company policies and procedures
• Communicates concerns regarding resident care to the Wellness Leader
• Attends staff meetings and required trainings
• Stays up to date with departmental communication
