Job summary

The Goodman Group, LLC is seeking a Certified Caregiver to provide routine daily care and medication services with compassion and respect. This role supports residents according to their assessment and service plans, ensuring safety and dignity in daily activities and interactions.

Key duties include assisting with ADLs, mobility, and social activities, while documenting care and monitoring for changes in condition.

Qualifications

• Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements.
• Prefer 6 months+ experience in home care, assisted living, or long-term care facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transfers, and mobility.
• Assist with moving and transferring residents using safe techniques.
• Communicate observations and incident reports to a supervisor.
• Assist residents to walk with/without self-help devices as instructed.
• Encourage resident socialization and participation in activities.
• Respond promptly to resident needs and requests for care.
• Monitor resident emotional state and report changes to the nurse.
• Follow infection control and safety procedures.
• Administer medications as instructed and document outcomes.
• Perform other essential duties as assigned.
