Job summary

Avamere Communities in Portland, OR seeks a part-time Caregiver for Assisted Living. Shifts include Eve (2pm-10pm) and NOC (10pm-6am), with a wage range of $18.58–$24.24 per hour depending on experience. Attendance bonuses apply.

Your duties will cover ADLs, emotional support, housekeeping, safety, and resident advocacy. You will also assist orientation and maintain confidentiality in a caring, respectful environment.

Qualifications

• Prefer experience as a Caregiver in Memory Care Unit or Assisted Living Facility.
• Must maintain CPR/First Aid Certification during employment.
• Must obtain a Food Handler’s Card.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting.
• Support mobility and transfers; assist with walking and mobility aids.
• Prepare meals, set up and remove trays as needed.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and assist with laundry and housekeeping.
• Observe health changes and report concerns; monitor vital signs as needed.
• Answer calls for assistance promptly; ensure confidentiality.
