Avamere Communities in Portland, OR seeks a part-time Caregiver-Assisted Living to support residents with daily living activities, emotional companionship, and safety. The role includes shift coverage and benefits under Avamere Communities.

The caregiver will assist with ADLs, provide companionship, maintain a clean living space, and monitor residents' health, reporting concerns as needed. Must be 18+, with CPR/First Aid and Food Handler's Card where applicable.

Qualifications

• Must have CPR/First Aid certification or able to obtain during employment.
• Must have or obtain a Food Handler's Card.
• Experience in memory care or assisted living is preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsabilités

• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Perform housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Monitor residents' health and report concerns to supervisor or medical staff.
• Respond to resident calls promptly and maintain confidentiality.
