Job summary

Avamere Skilled Advisors, LLC is seeking a dedicated Caregiver in Saint Helens, OR. The role involves assisting with activities of daily living, providing emotional support, and ensuring resident safety.

Shifts include swing (2-10pm) or noc (10pm-6am) on a rotating schedule, with a full-time schedule and a wage range of $18.58–$24.24 per hour depending on experience. Responsibilities include ADLs, mobility, meals, companionship, housekeeping, health monitoring, and resident advocacy.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Caregiver, preferably in memory care or assisted living.
• Ability to obtain and maintain CPR/First Aid certification.
• Ability to obtain a Food Handler’s Card.
• Experience with electronic medical records documentation.
• Friendly, attentive, professional demeanor with residents and guests.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Assist with mobility and meal preparation; support with transfers and meal setup.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and assist with housekeeping tasks.
• Monitor residents’ health, report concerns, and advocate for residents’ well-being.
• Respond to resident calls promptly and maintain confidentiality and safety.
