Job summary

Avamere Living is seeking a PRN Caregiver for the Hillsboro location, with swing shifts 2-10pm and weekend availability. Pay ranges from $18.58 to $24.24 per hour, DOE, plus an attendance bonus. Primary duties include aiding residents with ADLs, mobility, meals, and emotional support in a memory care/assisted living setting.

The role emphasizes companionship, safety, and a warm, professional demeanor, with opportunities to contribute to resident well-being and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Prefer experience in memory care or assisted living.
• Ability to obtain and maintain CPR/First Aid certification.
• Ability to obtain a Food Handler's Card.
• Experience in electronic medical records documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide mobility assistance and support with transfers and use of mobility aids.
• Prepare meals, set up meals, and assist with serving and cleanup.
• Offer emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and confidential environment.
