Avamere in St Helens, OR is hiring a Caregiver for Assisted Living or Memory Care. Full-time positions on swing or NOC shifts with rotating schedules. Wage ranges from $18.58 to $24.24 per hour, DOE, with attendance bonuses and comprehensive benefits.

The role involves assisting with ADLs, providing emotional support, housekeeping, and health monitoring to ensure resident safety and well-being.

Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid certification required or ability to obtain during employment.
• Food Handler's Card required.
• Experience in electronic medical records documentation.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Friendly, attentive and professional demeanor with residents and guests.
• Genuine desire to improve seniors' quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Support mobility with walking, transfers, and mobility aids.
• Assist with meal preparation and tray removal.
• Provide emotional support and companionship.
• Maintain housekeeping, laundry, and a clean, safe environment.
• Monitor residents' health and report concerns; observe vital signs.
• Answer calls for assistance promptly and maintain confidentiality.
• Support orientation of new residents and staff; perform other duties as assigned.
