Nightingale Respite Care is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to join our team and support the well‑being of our aging population. We offer flexible schedules, top pay with weekly direct deposit, and health benefits to eligible staff.

Join our supportive team with online training certificates and fast onboarding. Shifts available Sunday through Saturday based on client needs, with a focus on delivering quality non‑medical homecare.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must pass a background check.
• 1 year caregiver experience in health care, nursing home, hospital or other homecare agency setting required.
• Valid driver's license/state ID and reliable daily transportation.
• Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations.
• Adequate physical endurance.

Responsibilities

• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Housekeeping tasks as needed.
• Assist with transfers and ambulation using cane, walker, wheelchair, or Hoyer Lift (as applicable).
• Assist clients with bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Plan, prepare and serve meals with client input when able.
• Assist clients with toileting, including bedpan or toilet.
• Report unusual events or occurrences to the administrator.
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
• Complete all other duties within the Client Service Plan.
