Job summary
Nightingale Respite Care is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to join our team and help provide quality non-medical homecare to our aging community. You will offer companionship, light housekeeping, and assistance with transfers and mobility in clients' homes.
Shifts vary, with a flexible schedule and top pay paid weekly via direct deposit. We provide health benefits, online training, and responsive support staff to help you onboarding quickly and start making a difference from day one.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must pass a background check.
- At least 1 year caregiver experience in health care or homecare.
- Valid driver's license/state ID and reliable transportation.
- Ability to perform all essential functions with/without accommodations.
- Adequate physical endurance.
Responsibilities
- Offer companionship and emotional support.
- Provide light housekeeping.
- Assist with transfers and ambulation using cane, walker, wheelchair, or Hoyer Lift.
- Aid with bathing, dressing and grooming.
- Plan, prepare and serve meals with client assistance.
- Assist with toileting including bedpan or toilet.
- Report unusual events to administrator.
- Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
- Complete other duties per the Client Service Plan.
