Job summary

Nightingale Respite Care LLC is seeking a caring, dependable Caregiver to join our team and deliver high-quality non-medical homecare to our aging population.

You will provide companionship, assist with daily living activities, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and mobility support while following each client's service plan. The role offers flexible shifts and a supportive administrative team. Commit to compassion, safety, and dignity.

Qualifications

• 1 year caregiver experience in health care, nursing home, hospital or other homecare agency setting required
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Valid driver’s license/state ID and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Offering companionship and emotional support
• Housekeeping
• Assists clients with transfers and ambulation including use of cane, walker, and wheelchair or Hoyer Lift
• Assists clients with bathing, dressing and grooming
• Plan, prepare and serve meals, with assistance from the clients
• Assists clients with toileting, including use of bedpan, or toilet
• Report on any unusual events or occurrences to the administrator
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Completes all other duties within the Client Service Plan
