Job summary

Leisure Living – Candlestone Assisted Living and Memory Care in Michigan is seeking a dedicated caregiver to provide and coordinate resident care, and to lead the care team to deliver quality services.

This full-time role runs 6:00 AM–2:30 PM with rotating weekends/holidays; requires CPR/First Aid, a high school diploma or GED, and at least 6 months of related experience. You’ll support daily activities and resident well-being.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Completion of Care Specialist I and II curriculum within 90 days of hire.
• At least 6 months of recent experience as a Care Specialist or equivalent.
• Must have CPR/First Aid certification or obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to multi-task, communicate effectively, and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate resident care to ensure quality care.
• Serve as a go-to resource for the care team and participate in orientation and training.
• Review resident care plans and communicate orders to staff and families as required.
• Administer medications according to physician orders and policies.
• Complete daily charting and documentation; assist with activities and resident engagement.
