Job summary

Leisure Living Management is seeking a full-time Care Specialist for Candlestone Assisted Living and Memory Care in Michigan. The role covers 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM with rotating weekends and holidays.

You will provide direct resident care, lead the care team, and ensure adherence to care plans and safety protocols. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, completion of Care Specialist I & II within 90 days, CPR/First Aid within 30 days, and proficiency with MS Office and resident care

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and completion of Care Specialist I and II within 90 days of hire.
• CPR/First Aid certification or obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office in Windows and company software.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate resident care to ensure quality care.
• Lead care team and participate in orientation and training.
• Review and update resident care plans and communicate orders to staff and families.
• Administer medications according to physician orders and policies.
• Maintain accurate daily charting and documentation.
• Support infection control, safety, and confidentiality policies.
