Job summary

Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Svc is seeking an Assistant Supervisor in Grand Rapids, MI. You will work under supervision, delivering physical and emotional care to clients with mental illness or developmental delays, while ensuring safety and high-quality service.

The role involves crisis intervention, milieu management, and collaboration on program planning. Minimum healthcare experience and an Associate’s Degree or equivalent are preferred; strong organizational and data-entry skills are

Qualifications

• Read, understand and follow directions; able to perform basic computations.
• Associate’s Degree or equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities may be required.
• Minimum of three months experience in related field.
• Ability to provide culturally inclusive care with a diverse community.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
• Proficiency with electronic systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and secure environment for persons served and staff.
• Assist in day-to-day planning and development of person served programming.
• Assist persons served with personal care as needed.
• Participate in safety management, crisis intervention and prevention.
• Document progress notes, medications, and other relevant information.
