Evergreen Retirement Community in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Care Associate for the Assisted Living program on the FT 2nd shift. You will assist residents with daily living activities, provide emotional support, and document care logs.

Requirements include at least one year in senior care, English proficiency, and possibly a CNA/CHHA license depending on state. Basic computer skills and a compassionate, team-focused approach are essential.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in senior care.
• Acceptable proficiency in English for duties, supervision communication, and emergencies.
• May require CNA or CHHA license depending on state.
• Basic computer skills are preferred.
• Compassionate, professional, kind, engaging, empathetic and helpful.
• Ability to work as part of a team and handle multiple tasks safely.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) in Assisted Living.
• Provide medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, and escort services.
• Follow resident needs schedules set by supervisor.
• Offer emotional and social support to residents.
• Document daily log of assistance.
• Inform supervisor of resident issues or concerns.
• Respect and encourage independence and dignity of residents.
