Job summary

Evergreen Retirement Community in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Care Associate for the Assisted Living program. This full-time position covers the 2nd shift, focusing on helping residents with daily activities and maintaining their dignity in a supportive environment.

You will document care logs, follow supervisor-directed schedules, and collaborate with a compassionate team to deliver high-quality amenities and emotional support to residents.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in senior care.
• Proficiency in English to perform duties and communicate with team.
• May require CNA or CHHA license depending on state.
• Basic computer skills.
• Compassion, professionalism, kindness, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Provide reminders for medications, and help with bathing, grooming, dressing, and escort services.

In this role you will be responsible for providing assistance to residents in the Assisted Living Program with their activities of daily living, enabling them to lead a quality life while maintaining their dignity.

• Provide assistance as needed with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort service, and other activities of daily living.
• Follow the schedule of resident’s needs set out by supervisor.

• You have at least oneyearof experience working in senior care.
• Acceptable proficiency in English to perform job duties, communicate with supervisor and other employees, and respond and communicate to emergency situations.
• You may need to have a CNA or CHHA license depending on the state.
• You have basic computer skills.
• You are compassionate, professional, kind, engaging, empathetic and helpful.
• You have the ability to work as a part of a team and handle multiple tasks safely and efficiently.
