Job summary

Evergreen Retirement Community in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Care Associate for Assisted Living (PT 7am to 3pm). You will assist residents with daily living activities to preserve dignity and independence, while delivering compassionate support in a team environment.

Responsibilities include reminders for medications, bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility, and escort services; documenting daily logs; and reporting resident issues to supervisors.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in senior care.
• Acceptable English proficiency to perform duties and emergencies.
• CNA or CHHA license may be required depending on state.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Compassionate, professional and empathetic demeanor.
• Ability to work as part of a team and handle multiple tasks.
• Ability to make independent decisions when warranted.
• Ability to solve problems in high-stress situations.
• Positive, friendly attitude toward residents and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with activities of daily living.
• Follow supervisor's resident needs schedule.
• Provide emotional and social support.
• Document daily log of assistance.
